I was up on the roof this afternoon doing a general inspection and lubing the TV antenna and roof vent. I took a look at the awning and there is about 10" missing of the bead that holds the canvas to the flexible aluminum cover on the back end. It doesn't appear that anything is broken or missing. The set screws are still in both ends of the awning. Is this normal? Should I worry about the awning pulling out or tearing? Should I try to get a piece of whatever is used for the bead?

Thanks for any suggestions.
