Yes, I have the Gorbers in Site 19 on the north side and Frank & Cheryl in Site M-19 on the south side.

Portal's site numbering system is very confusing right now because there are duplicate numbers in the north and south portions.  Here is a link to the Portal site map from the first entry for our 2011 rally.  It's at the end of the writeup.  http://www.rvforum.net/SMF_forum/index.php?topic=31848.0

By the way, all sites are RV sites so there are only plain numbers for the old section on the north and either R or M numbers in the new section on the south.

Frank - What is your last name so we know who you are when you get to M-19.

Tom - Thanks for the reminder about Red Cliffs Lodge museum.  Not only is Red Cliffs in an absolutely gorgeous setting, but the museum also is interesting.

Thanks, Frank.  Now I can put you in your appropriate alphabetic sequence in the list!  ::)  I see that we also need Don and Diane's name in Site 20.  I just have McL and that's a guess.  Did anyone take the sites vacated by Maxwell and Bullock?

"South sites require the use of a water pressure regulator."

"Doughnut Gasket with 90 degree angle/elbows must be used on all sewer hookups."

Well, it looks like we're going to have to cancel Moab for this year.  My DH took a job in Texas and we're going to be here through June.  I haven't called the park yet to cancel my site, wanted to find out if someone from the forum is looking for a site first?

Enjoy the Moab....everyone; be sure to post lots of pictures!  We were really looking forward to seeing Moab and meeting everyone!  We will be coming next year for sure, my DH will be retired then.

I'd say give it a week or so in case someone isn't on the RV Forum every day and doesn't see your message, but whatever suits your needs is the norm.  If anyone wants Site 10 they should coordinate with Mikie ASAP so they can cancel their reservation.

A little late getting back here, recovery being what it is, but I have a new knee and Christi is going to make me hike Negro Bill's Canyon, since she did it some years ago, flying aggravations notwithstanding.

Hook us up, Wendy! Pretty sure I can shame young Chip and Janette into it, and Don and Mary Ann are targets, as well! Good times, for sure!
 
Oh boy ! Negro Bill Canyon, here we come. Just remember there's poison oak along the trail...but it's worth it for the end of the trail at Morning Glory Arch.

So, what other hikes and drives are folks planning? I'm ready !

There wasn't a lot of response to my earlier question about who wants to do what, but here is a tentative and minimal calendar for Moab 2012.

TENTATIVE CALENDAR FOR RV FORUM MOAB RALLY May 13-19, 2012

Sunday, May 13 ? Arrive at Portal; Happy hour and get-acquainted at 4:00 p.m.
Monday, May 14 ? Easy hike in Arches (Park Avenue); Happy hour at 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 15 ? Easy trail ride; Happy hour at 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday, May 16 ? Fiery Furnace hike in Arches; Happy hour at 4:00 p.m.
Thursday, May 17 ? 4WD trail ride; Happy hour at 4:00 p.m.
Friday, May 18 ? Hike in Negro Bill Canyon; Happy hour at 4:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 19 ? 4WD trail ride; ?Last Supper? at Sunset Grill or elsewhere
Sunday, May 20 ? End of rally farewells & leave Moab
