We will be arriving together with the Brewers on Friday at the 29 palms casino and caravan to Pomona with the Brewers and Russ on Saturday. Our arrival date is scheduled by FMCA for Sunday afternoon. If the FMCA parking committee will not let us in on Saturday we will stay at the holding area and you can join us for going in on Sunday.

Is 29 palms a different place than Spotlight 29? I'd assumed that folks were talking about the latter.

The difference is: 29 Palms has spotlights and 29 Spotlights has palms. Last time I stayed there my neighborrow didn't even know the difference  after a couple of Magaritas.
I suggest we have a pre mini rally Friday night at "La Casita"

Thanks for the clarification.  Though other messages are getting us confused again.

I wonder if we might benefit from somehow splitting off the thread and having one dedicated to the rendezvous point for the Pamona event?  If we are the only ones who would benefit, then ignore the suggestion.
 
LOL Chris. La Casita sounds like a great place for a rendezvous, although I suspect we'll have a tough time getting in with all the other folks in town for the rally. OTOH you seemed to have some connections there  ;)

BTW my entrance day for FMCA is Sunday. Which day is yours (you told me, but I forgot).

Aye Phil told me the same thing.  Likely it will take once I have been there a week.  I am not much of a speller.  I will go correct the title of the thread on the pre gathering so as not to confuse anyone further.  I hope I get the correction right!  ;D

I have been requested to present a PressurePro seminar to the Mandalay Owners' Group at their pre-rally and will be staying with them on Thursday and Friday at Emerald Desert. On Saturday morning we will drive over to 29 Palms and join you in the Forum Caravan to Pomona. Please wait for us.

Better get there early as we have 8-12 Pomona entry & will be leaving between 7-8 am.

That Whitewater rest area is a little small going northbound. Another option.

If you came out of Emerald Desert, turned right (Frank Sinatra) , and next right on Gerald Ford you can easly park along that street, which is behind Emerald Desert. There is plenty of room along there. Then if they called you on cellphone leaving the Casino, you could go  up to Cook street on ramp and you would be just a little ahead of them.

There are no changes, the last few messages have discussed my meeting the group at the Spotlight 29 Casino in Coachella, CA, the pre-discussed pre-rally meeting point. I was just going to meet the group Saturday morning rather than Friday nite. I thought the discussion was fairly clear.

Tom,
Sometimes the parking committee is more forgiving  with those arriving together in a group. We will try to get in as a group with signs in our window 1 of 6, 2 of 6 etc but it is likely that we may become seperated.  It is  a long ways on several freeways and everyone should know where we are going.  At least one in our group is going to try to  get in early with us. But then I think you are coming in with the Monaco group right?
