Added a Filter to My Vans Water Fill
« on: May 25, 2011, 08:44:22 PM »
I added a two stage water filter to my van this last week.  It is based on the Culligan recreational vehicle/marine water filter system (RVF-10).  Not wanting wanting to take up valuable storage space in out cabinets, I semi-permanently mounted it in a "dead space" near the vans water fill.  I can use it as shown in the photo's or lift it out of the two hole mounting plate it sets in and put it closer to the campground water spigot.

There are some old pics in the RV Forum Library.  See "Conversions and Remodeling" and then go to "5. Van Conversion".  Tom posted an article on the van.  Since that time I have added a penthouse top to the van and moved some things around in the living space.  But, you will get the idea.
