I stumbled onto an idea that has so-far worked out really well. I purchased a paper shear from Horrible Freight (yea I know, chinese junk) but it was cheap $25 or so and I was in the neighborhood. Works great for square cutting the ends of Allure flooring. Flooring is down in bath and bedroom. resetting cabinets and dog house this evening. Hope to have some pics soon.

FWIW, the Pro that did my flooring used the same type device.  Works great.

Jim- is there a Harbor Freght in Montana?  We have a tile cutter that looks like that.
