We just purchased this tent-trailer and we can't get the ceiling lights or the furnace fan to work on the electricity.  The plugs and the fridge work though.  Could it be the breaker?  Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi,
The lights and furnace are usually 12V. How are your battery and charger? The Charger (converter) might be turned off or have a blown fuse. alternately, the battery may be dead or non existent. Might check. More information will be needed for anything further.

Chances are if the fridge is working (the fridge controls are also 12 volt) then you have 12 volts coming from either battery or converter, I would check the 12 volt fuses in the fuse box, the light bulbs, and if that is okay, take a volt meter and see if you have 12 volts at all the fuse locations. Ernie is correct that the furnace fan as well as the lights are 12 volts. When you are "plugged in" your converter is converting the 120 volt AC power to 12 volts to run those things, and charge your battery.
