It's so nice to see pictures of everyone at the rally, and especially nice to see Nancy Brink looking so healthy and happy!  Thanks, Ron.

Great shots and thanks for sharing.  Nancy and Jeanette are looking great.

Too all I missed this morning, We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed meeting everyone, alas, family matters called. Hope we can get together again.

Great pics Ron, we will cherish them.

Had an really excellent dinner tonight at Cordelia's, the restaurant at the lodge here in the park. Waitresses were dressed in pirate costume to add to the Halloween atmosphere, but Florida lost the GA-FL football game (probably because Nancy didn't dare root too loud here in central GA).

Jim & Di finally showed up, minus Di. She decided to stay home after several months on the road.

For those who weren't up early, Pelicanlady's sunrise over Lake Blackshear pictures  -- from site 3, Georgia Veterans State Park.

Finally downloaded some additional images from this morning and evening.  Almost missed the sunset as we were breaking up from dinner, but I managed a couple.

Maryann:  Your sunrise is excellent but I'll show one of mine anyway.

Glad you got the sunset.  By the time we got back to the camera, the colors had pretty much faded.

Like your angle on the sunrise better than Mary Ann's, but she would have had to run down the lake in her bathrobe to get the same!

Nice work!

Don

The pictures are gorgeous, both Mary Ann's and Ron's.  As Jim said, the Halloween colors are really astounding.

Sorry we had to run off Sunday, but poor Cadi was one terribly ill kitty. The vet in Cordele did not think she would live through another night without specialist help, so we medevac'd her to Gainesville, FL, and the UF Veterinary College Emergency Room. Inflamed intestines is the preliminary diagnosis and she is getting pain killers and anti-biotics tonight. They initially thought she had a "foreign body" in her gut and surgery had been planned, but was discarded once xray and ultrasound showed no specific target to work on. Will see how tomorrow goes.

Hope everybody is still having fun and the Halloween Hat contest will go off as planned Monday under the able auspices of co-hosts Jeanette & Dave Reavis.
