Which would be a better system. We plan to r.v in state parks in florida with no cable hook-up.Does roof mounted winegard bring in good reception thru out state.
Thanks

One is an antenna for over the air TV, like locals and network affiliates. The other is a satellite subscription where you can get as much or as little programming as you are willing to purchase.

It's a Batwing.. :)
For off-air it TOTALLY depends on where you are going, but the Batwing will definitely make a difference. Go to www.antennaweb.com, or www.tvfool.com for more information of predicted signal where you intend to be.

We've used the batman with a wingman in various places in Florida.  In Tampa we get about 35-40 channels (many are Spanish speaking) and up near Gainesville it is more like 8-10.  Just depends on where you are located.  Near big cities there will be plenty and the reception and quality is excellent.
