Lovely, absolutely lovely. Highway 1 is closed in both directions east of Vancouver possibly until Friday due to a mud slide. It is the
major route out of the Fraser valley to the interior, the other options are two lane highway 7 or 99 north through Whistler. The traffic
will be very heavy through the weekend, a holiday on both sides of the border. Guess we are staying home, I can't deal with that.
