I'm relatively new to the RV scene, so have some questions for some of you in the know that can perhaps point me in the right direction.

I bought a 10 year old Flagstaff (made by Forrest River) Super-light this summer.

We will use it around town (Central Florida), and then it will go semi-permanently to our property in north Georgia.

The roof is a membrane type (TPO I believe they call it), and is currently in good condition.

My dilemma is what to do while it is in storage for long periods of time?

I know from car covers and bike covers that you don't want to trap moisture under them and cause more problems than no cover at all (mold/mildew).

I also don't want leaves etc. building up over time and rotting the roof.

One of the RV forums members suggested the Tyvek breathable type of covers made by Adco.

Anyone with experience here?

Short of building an RV carport is there an alternative I'm missing?

I do have year round neighbors that look after the property (mowing, etc) that may be willing to clean off the roof as routine maintenance.

What I don't want is leaks causing unknown damage and a rude surprise on our return visits.

Or am I just being overly cautious and paranoid?

Thanks,
Mike
