This weekend, the Onan 7000 (7NHMFA261050) would not restart after shutoff. The starter makes a grinding noise as if it's either not engaging fully of the engine is locked up. I verified I could turn the engine by hand, so know it's not locked up, so I'm suspecting a failed starter. Does anyone have a PDF service manual for this generator? I'm unable to locate one online and am confused about all the different models. It even appears that my generator may used one of two different starters. As it is, I don't even know where the starter is located as I can't visualy identify it.
