We have your typical slide-in bag with awning on our popup. During a wind storm, it ripped the actual slide strip for the roof from the bag. It is REALLY thick plastic, as you all know. How the heck do I sew it or repair it without a heavy duty sewing machine and no sewing/upholstery company around to repair it? I do NOT want to bring it to the dealer and do NOT want to pay for a new one. I tried sewing it with a sail needle and pliers, but that took forever to get it through once.
