Ran into a problem with our hot water heater last weekend. It was working like it always does then all a sudden the heater went out and lost all use of the monitor. Turns out a spider got in the air intake tube off of the valve and caused a flame out. melted all of the wires and circuit board cover. Fuse blew. Taped all of the wires, replaced fuse and still nothing worked. Turned out their is another fuse in line somewhere. Had to rewire the monitor to get it to all work, put in a breakaway fuse inside the hot water cover. I now will check the flames on the hot water heater and frig to make sure they are a blue flame every trip.
