I am having a power tripping problem with my 03 Cougar at the shore hookup.
To back check the shore hookup problem, I tried my buddies hookup in the site beside me and my camper also tripped the breaker on his shore hookup.
So I thought it was maybe in the cord. He had and extra 30 foot cord so we cut the female end off it and wired it to the camper... Same things keeps happening....
The AC trips the breaker at the shore line when I turn it on.
However, I can turn it off and run the lights, refrigerator, etc... for a few minutes..then the breaker trips again.
All in all, I cannot run anything with out the breaker tripping at the shore post.
The breaker in the 45 amp converter never tripped.....
Could it be the converter?... I can hear it humming... But I cannot tell if the fan is running or not...
I cannot smell anyhting burning.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have scheduled an appointment to have it looked at later in the week.
