I'm a little more than a year into my used purchase; a 2000 Itasca Sunrise. I've had a blast! On a recent trip, the right front wheel skirt (fender thing above the wheel) came loose from the top. Brackets at the front and back of the skirt held the bottom.
I've tried to just push the piece back into place, but it always comes loose. I look the skirt off; there was an "L" shaped bracket that has a notch that the trim sits in. This L-shaped bracket sits behind the vinyl trim, that serves as a "beltline" for the motorhome. I thought that putting automotive trim tape, would allow the piece to fit back into the "L" bracket notch, but it is too thick. I can't figure out how to reattach the wheel skirt in a way that will keep it tight from the top.
Any suggestions?
