Any reccommendations on RV  parks to stay at during this event

seems like a good way to start our snowbird winter... and  tune up for the New Years Rally at Catalina

I sent the Balloon Festival admin office an email asking if they would have Overnight RV parking available at the Balloon Fest.  I'll pst there reply.

If not the closest would be Tempe and Mesa. Lots of parks. but not really close.

We are planning to be there, and starting to get more sleep now so I can get up at 4 am to watch all the hot air rising

That's where a good RV parking spot is priceless, you just step outside in your bathrobe, sit down with a cup of coffee and enjoy the spectacle.
