auto leveling on 5th wheels
« on: March 27, 2006, 05:54:13 AM »
Good morning,
I am going to be new to rv'ing and am considering a 5th wheel.  One thing I have noticed is the lack of automatic leveling option in 5th wheels.  Does anyone know if an auto leveling system is an option on any 5th wheels?

Thanks,
Lenes :

Yes, you can get auto levelers for trailers and 5th wheels from several of the manufacturers, like HWH and others.

Quadra makes a trailer leveling system, sold under their Big Foot brand name. Can be fully automatic or manually controlled. See http://www.bigfootleveler.com/levelers.html

And here's an article by HWH Corp on jack systems for trailers:

Some have them as an option or you can retrofit aftermarket.....but they are very expensive.
