We pulled into Oshkosh, WI yesterday and, with limited CGs and no need for hookups, decided to stay overnite at the local Walmart. As we drove into the parking lot, "No Overnite Parking" signs were all over the place. Went inside, as we normally do, to find if there were OK spaces or other locations where we could boondock for the nite. The reaction was "are those signs still up?". They apparently put the signs up before the school year starts at the local U of Wisconsin branch and then take them down or stop enforcing after the current semester is well underway.

Even with No Parking signs, it pays to check with the store.

Our local (Hermantown,mn) Walmart remodeled. Next thing I know, No Over night parking\No Camping signs are all around the lot. I asked about it at customer service and was told it was  ok, just stop at CS so they know who's there.

We stopped at the Walmart in Oshkosh, WI last summer, intending to overnite. There were signs all over the place,
'no overnite parking". Went inside to CS to check on whether they had overnite parking OK in the rear. They told me to ignore the signs, they are just up to keep out the U of Wisconsin students when school is in session. Had a nice quiet nite.
