We traveled Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park today.  The colors have not yet peaked and the skies were not all that photogenic, but we did get a few photos.

George:

We are coming down I-81 to I-40 and heading west in 10 days or so and are hoping to see the peak around then.

Wow ;D That is beautiful. We don't see the range of colors in the northwest, mostly yellow aspen among the green conifers.

George,

Certainly not peaked but nice colors anyway! Peak is a fleeting moment. :) We missed it this year in the Grand Tetons. Just caught the end of it. :(
