I have been looking at a particular rv which is a 2011 model.  The nearly same RV for 2012 has a Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price increase of 10% or roughly $21K.  Is this standard in the industry?  The only thing I can tell that is different is the TV in the bedroom increased from 19" to 24".

Seriously...it makes me think that the 2011 is the way to go.

Thanks for any responses...

I don't think there is any "industry standard" in RV pricing. Models come and go, and the equipment in a model changes at whim, and not just with the model year either. And prices are extremely competitive among RV manufacturers, so rarely will you find one raising the price just because they want more profit.

If the 2011 has what you want in an RV, there is no reason not to buy it. However, it's resale value has already depreciated a year, so keep that in mind when negotiating the sale price.
