Generac NP-50G Generating Power Problem

Hi, We have a Generac NP-50G  Model # 09712-2 in are 1995 RV the Problem is when we turn-on the generator it will generate power for about 30 seconds then we get no power the generator still runs. I where thinking it might be the Voltage Regulator but now sure any help world be appreciated
