One thing we always like when traveling are the great people we have met in CG's we stayed...many were ex-military.  I think it would be nice for the veterans of this forum to identify yourself.

Thanks for your service. US Navy 1960-1964, Electronics Technician,E-5,  All Destroyers. WestPac cruise '62/'63.

I just met a gentleman at Yellowstone last week. He was a River Rat in Viet Nam. I thanked him for his service and he told me nobody said that when he returned. Had a nice chat with him. I'm sure he has a lot of tales to tell that would make many shutter. God Bless all who have served our country proudly!!!
 
US Army 1995-2002

I'm still currently working with the Army and right now I'm in Afghanistan. I'm working as a defense contractor right next to the soldiers everyday. Heading home in about two weeks for the Holidays and can't wait!

USAF Sept 1949 - Sept 1954. Tyndall AFB 1949-1950. Korea 1950 - 1953. Fairchild AFB 1953 - 1954
S/Sgt 92nd Air Police - 4th District OSI
 
USAF, 1957 to 1980 with SAC (Strategic Air Command) worked with B-36's, B-47's, and Da BUFF mostly....  22 years, 4 months, and 28 days.  Dubious distinction of having been selected for 3 RVN tours......1965, and 1967, AND 1970 with Combat Skyspot (Arc Light Missions) !!!!!

Drafted - Army - 56 - 58.  Stationed in Germany and was in Band.  Nice duty with lots of travel.
