I've been trying to remember my Service Number for days finally came to me.

D11-04-67.  Never used it other than boot camp stenciling used SSN after Boot camp.

I know it but I also currently use it for computer stuff so will not post it.  Now rifle numbers, NO WAY as I had too many different ones and it was a good thing I did not have to stand inspections after I got out of electronics school.  :)

Jim, I'm like you, I remember mine but use it for passwords, etc.  I'm also surprised at how much Morse code I still remember, & the Q & Z signals too.

Clark used to have a nice golf course.  Green fees and caddies were pretty cheap.  If I were able to play golf anymore, I'd like to play Clark again.  But, alas, there is no more Clark. :'(

The military posts are open to everyone for play. Do not need to be military anymore to play there course's. Now that opens up a lot of course's to play accross the US.

USAF Aircraft Weapons Specialist  1965 - 1989
Cam Ranh Bay RVN 1967 - 1968

My thanks, admiration and respect to all who serve!

But the Cubi bar still exists. I think that's what they called it. :) It was re-constructed at the museum in Pensacola.

Paul,

We were in the same years! Did you go through Great Lakes for boot camp? Might have been in the same company!!

The tincan I was on at the time was on the blockade. No medal here. USN 60-64  8)

Paul,
Turns out a lot of blockade ships did not get the medal and ribbon. The Navy changed the dates of the conflict and you might be in line for a medal. My ship was reclassified and our reunion team sent the paperwork to some part of the government. If you belong to one of the veterans organizations they should help you get the facts.
