Just got email about this rally.  Looks dood, and it falls right on our route after finishing winter in Yellowstone.  Martina McBride, Bill Cosby and others for entertainment.  I am about to register.  $179 for boondocking.  Can we get a group?

We don't plan on registering, tho may go in on a day pass. We live only a couple of miles away and would be happy to join any frally or happy hour activities.

I'll let Terry answer because it is his turn to plan what we do this year but I'm sure we will be attending.  He has already mentioned Bill Cosby
Betty

I am probably going to reg in boondockville. March ought not to be hot enough to require power for AC at night.  We are really looking forward to it, will be less than a week after I leave winter gig at Yellowstone.

BILL COSBY ??? For real? We registered while we were at the Redmond Good Sam rally when the CEO offered registration for HALF-OFF for anyone registering while attending Redmond. It was too good a deal to pass up. We were going to sign up for boondocking but decided that for 1/2-price we'd go whole-hog and get E hookups. And Mike reminded me that in March this year when we were at Lake Pleasant the last week in March, the temperature got up to 98 for 3 days in a row. Looks like another Frally taking shape :)

Really.  98?  After a winter at Old Faiithful I will look like a lobster!  Boondocking has pretty liberal gen hours, right?  I even have a genturi.

Betty/Terry, you going hookup or boony?

My Westy toad will be with us.

It was "unseasonably warm" according to the local weathercasters :) . It was quit pleasant in the evenings and at night.

Generator hours are usually 7am - 11 pm.

Those hours will work.  Seeing as how we will miss NY Eve, Q and the hop, skip and stumble, this will be good.  Wish we could all park near one another, I know how spread out these can be.

This is shaping up pretty nicely!
I will be leaving Yellowstone about the 17th of March, flying to Tucsn.  Jolene will be flying in from VA to Tucson.  Getting the coach ready for season and heading to Rally on the 22nd.  Figure the middle days there will be some food shopping and a visit with our son.  Then on the road.  Not due back into the park to get ready for summer season till about the 17th of April  Figure we will spend most of our time in AZ area until the northward trek.

This makes us miss the Hop rally.  :'(

Bill,

Considering the  usual weather here in late March and April, I would stay away as long as possible.  Good choice to stay south.  :)
