I am adding a pair of Lifeline AGM batteries (the house batteries are directly over the braking system, so want to avoid any acid leak!) to replace the US Battery AGM2000 that came with the van. I currently have a 750 watt TrippLite Inverter/Charger that has three level charging, as well as the Roadtrek installed Sure Power battery separator. Some advocate another switch to isolate the house and vehicle batteries so you are not charging two dissimilar battery systems. I can't tell if this is necessary or not, but want to keep these new AGMs as long as possible. I previously had a sportsmobile and added a LinkPro battery monitor, but want to avoid this if possible.
