I put it into blog format so I could mix commentary and photos.  This is the first day's entry.  Follow the next days one at at time under the November listing on the right hand side.

Edit: Link moved to signature line.

Fried Pickles ?? You had Fried Pickles? I am SO jealous.

Wendy
1000 miles from good fried pickles

Not only that, they were free!  The KOA gave us the restaurant's coupon for free fried pickles with any dinner order.

Sounds like a nice trip.  Are you from somewhere in northern IL?

Yes.  I never like to get too specific although if someone was serious, they could piece it together.
South of Joliet somewhere.
:)

Very nice blog!  A good read with very good pictures.

Give the old pup a pat on the head....and good on you for the ramp.  Our maggie girl (7.5 yr old italian mastiff) will need that ramp at some point.

Now you are in my neck of the woods, or where we are from.  Been over those roads many a time.  Yep, always time consuming to get through Terre Haute, figured it had improved by now.

And I like driving the Pennyrile, I have driven all those a lot but mostly before ever having a motorhome, just going on trips in the car or truck.  Enjoy hte scenery.
