I have an 98 GMC 3/4 ton I bought 2nd hand with a hitch done instaled. The hitch actually mounts over the fender wells on each side. I know its an older style but it is the best fit for my work truck. I just bought a new truck and want to put the same type of hitch in it. My problem is I dont know who makes them or where to buy one. Would really appriciate any help anyone could offer

Joe it connects in 3 points. One on the front cross member. One point on the rear cross member and it has a plate on top of the fender well. It doesn't seem sturdy but my trailer has a dry weight of 17000 and it pulls really well even in the mountains and I have never seen any signs of stress or fatigue around the mounting points
