We are planning on traveling to Nova Scotia this summer (July) and our son is a surfer. While researching beaches it seems to me the White Point is the best spot to surf. I can't seem to find any campground near that beach. Any suggestions? Oh and BTW thanks for the tax refund info, I would have never known about it.
What else does anyone suggest as a hafta go see?

I like the big bay south of the capitol. Peggy's Cove is very photogenic. King Neptune CG just west of there has a superb view of  a tiny fishing cove. The 3 churches in a row in Mahone Bay. Lunenberg fisheries of Atlantic museum. Town has a CG up on the ridge in center of town with view of fore and back bays.

Louisbourg is a recreation of the French colony on the big island off the N tip of Nova Scotia. Cabot Trail is a fun drive and I enjoyed the Bell telephone museum.

John started surfing in the 1950's.  His surfing never took him up to Nova Scotia, but he has worked in the surf industry since the 1960's and his and our sons contacts there are extensive.  You could email our son at [email protected],and he, or his wife(a surfer from New Hampshire) may have some info.  Another option is to try these for more info
