DW and I just returned from the RV show in Tucson.  http://rvshow.us/rvshowus/RV_Shows_in_the_US.html
It is billed on the same page as the Tampa show.  We were somewhat disappointed.  We hoped for more vendors
selling parts / services / gadgets & goodies.  What we found was one large dealer selling inventory of new motor homes.
We did enjoy walking through the coaches, looking at options and critiquing floor plans, but we are happy with our coach
and not really in the market to buy a new one.

What we wanted was to see the new gadgets & goodies that make RV life more fun and entertaining.

My Question is will there be dealers and purveyors of such items in Quartzite or should we just come and plan for the party?
There was not much of a party at Tucson.

HelP?

Quartzsite has lots and lots of vendors during the Sports/ RV / Vacation show Jan 21-29.  The number of RV vendors is down but there are still plenty to keep you busy.  There are also vendors in surrounding tent cities as well as RV dealers with new and used coaches all around town.  Are there any specific kinds of things you are looking for?

Quartzsite is the gadget and goodies capital of the world.  Lots of RV related gadgets and more.  A lot of the miracle cooking pan salesmen who travel the summer county fair circuits set up for the winter there.  And there are seasonal vendors selling just about every knick-nack you can think of, and quite a few you haven't.

Another good place is Yuma.  They have two huge seasonal swapmeets with many of the same kinds of vendors as Quartzsite, and others who are only in Yuma.  Along with great county fair and Mexican food booths.  One swapmeet is about a mile east of the airbase, the other is at the old dog racing track south of the big curve on business 8.

We find things at Quartzsite that we can't find anywhere else, such as odd-numbered fuses.  Jerry usually stocks up on his electrical odds and ends.
