The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an RV or an interest in RVing!
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
That is a great fire ring. Hope it doesn't get grabbed by someone else next year - of course, we are pretty good at chasing other folks away :)

Now there are six.  Ann and I left about 9:00 AM this morning and are now down by Somerton, AZ.

Thanks to everyone it was another great get together in Quartzsite!

After QZ, since this was our first time to Arizona, we hit Havasu, Peach Springs, Grand Canyon, Bullhead City, and Oatman and had a great time and spring like weather throughout our trip. Headed back to the homestead tomorrow. Mrs Waterdog needs to return to work. :'(

Hey Mr and Mrs Water Dog - It was a pleasure to get to meet you and spend time with you at Q. Hope to see you again next year.

I have added 10 more photos from Q to the album. Well actually nine and one of Jane in Phoenix. They are the first ten shots in the album.

Tom..what an awesome pic of Charlie.  The pic captures his personality perfectly and is now my screen backdrop.  But where are the pics of new MH.  I bet you are waiting until you have it all washed and waxed before you post pics..

I thought the same thing. If you followed the link to my Picassa page you will notice I put that photo as the album cover. He is a beautiful dog and very photogenic. I owned an Old English Sheepdog for 12 years so I know how much work it is to keep him looking handsome. BTW the image I posted on the forum is a small version of the one on Picassa.

I posted some photos this morning in the bread truck thread. Look at post #47:

Actually I am waiting until I get the inside in it's final form before I post a lot of photos. The living room and dining room was completely gutted, which is just the way I wanted it. I have a 46 inch tv, a 5.1 surround sound system, my guitar and amp, keyboard and my Beatles Rock Band drum set to install. I am laying carpet and doing a whole bunch of other modifications, so it will be a month or so till I am done. I need to get a few paychecks to finish things up.

I have been working on it full time since I got it getting things put away and fixing things that don't work. It is killing me to take the day off to watch the Superbowl with all this work around me. And I also have to get my Allegro ready to sell.

Tom, let me add our congrats for your new home along with the others.  Yes, QZ was addicting to us as well, having arrived there "green as grass" from the east coast.  We were able to entice a few others to enjoy this new phenomena with us.  I've often thought out loud, that every serious RVer owes it to him/herself to make the pilgrimage to the RVer's mecca.  If it doesn't grab you the first time, you're just not a serious enough RVer to enjoy ALL the experiences of this wonderful life-style.  Enjoy your new home and hope you have many happy miles in your path.

Now there are three as of 7:00 am this morning. For those of you who missed the Parker 425 desert race I will be posting some pics when I return home. Larry and Loretta returned for the race after their trip to Florida. Thanks John & Carol for letting us know about the race.  Margaret and I had a great time.

Earlier in the week, we drove from Plomosa out to Bouse to do some geocaching and saw RVs already lining up to watch the Parker 425.

And now there is one left. Bob B. left Sunday afternoon. Carol and I left this morning at 10:30 AM.
Thanks to everyone for showing a newbie a good time. We had a good time and seemed to be on the go all the time so now it is time for some overdue rest and car and MH clean up.

Lou is the only one left so he will have to turn the lights out when he leaves.

Thank you all again for the teaching sessions at the Rally. Yes we needed/need help learning about this RV life. Sorry to have to leave before the end. Our friends who had the head on collision with their trailer in tow are home now but quite shaken over the "You see your life pass before you" episode. When I ask what they will get for a replacement they get those glazed looks on their faces.
We are back in Colorado now to check on the stick house and planning our next adventures. Hope to see you again in Moab next. Sue and Bob

The lights are officially out on the 2012 RV Forum Quartzsite Rally.  I left the rally site this afternoon and, as the last one out, declared the Rally closed.

I went across the road to dump, then decided to spend my last LTVA night on that side of the road instead of returning to La Posa Tyson Wash.  Maybe I can sneak in and top off my water tank on the way out tomorrow.

I'm going to one of the 14 day areas and will stop in at the public hearing about the La Posa Travel Management Plan at the QIA.

After that I'll probably head down to the Yuma area.

One last picture I'd like to add to this thread.  We see a lot of Bob Buchanan's fine pictures here but we seldom see any of Bob himself.

Here's one of Bob calculating all of the parameters for his next shot.  Thanks for all you do for all of us at Quartzsite, Bob.  See you next year.
