it has lots of shady site and real close to the river. It's kind of like boon docking but with all hook ups. The sites all look pretty level. The office has no RV supplies but sells firewood and ice. Need alittle TLC, like repair of picnic tables. Large fire rings. On week-end, it is always booked out for the people who just stay the week-end but Sunday a lot people leave. We got here Sat afternoon but we made reservation about 2 months out. It is approx 6 miles from the south gate of the Sequoia National Park which we spend a day. Very nice drive and wild life. The town of Three Rivers which is about 4 miles away has some shops, cafe's. Very small town but quant. About 5miles always is a vary large lake. Visalia is about 22 miles in case you need to go to a larger town. Will try to post some picture when we get home.
