Have had a case of cabin fever.  Meds are not helping.  Spent some time in my wood shop, bought some more tools but that isn't helping much either.  So to distract myself I grabbed pictures from here and there last night and put together a slide show...to music...of our van as it looks today.  Dreaming of summer.  Well not really today because it is in the storage lot with snow and yuck all over it and I'm home.  The slide show is about 7 minutes long for those who look at it.

Enjoy

I second what Russ said. We've seen individual parts of this project in numerous prior posts by Len, but seeing it all come together like this is wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice slide show and van conversion! But why are you in the snow when you have such a nice toy to get yourself down where its warm? ;)

Thanks,

I partly made and posted it because of "the fever".  I also put on the Van Conversion section hoping to get more posts "Van Conversions" of other peoples.  Posts some pics of the features that you REALLY like about your rig.  Give me great ideas for my next van.  :p :p

I'm new hear and just wanted to chime in to say what a great job your slideshow was, what a beautiful job you've done on your van and how inspiring the whole things is.  Nice work and thanks for sharing.

I enjoy using "Microsoft Live Movie Maker".  It is very easy to use and I have now made over a dozen slide shows with it.  There are several transition methods but I like the fade out and fade in feature.  I also like the feature that allows the static pictures to slowly move across the screen makes them seem much more alive.

Here is one of our pictures taken at Butchart Garden on Vancouver Island last fall.  I think the motion adds to the slides and the 'soft' transition between slides goes along with the quite garden scenes. (8 minutes if watched)

Another one we have had over 300 hits on Youtube was our 2010 Newfoundland trip.  The option of adding music when putting them up on Youtube also enhances the slide show.

Have a great time and safe travels
