Is there a difference between a 99 or 2000 model rv that is almost identical? I mean reliability wise and things like that

Given equal maintenance, care, mileage, use pattern, etc., probably not.

FWIW - I have a 2000 Coachmen built on a 1999 E450 chassis.  As stated, the year doesn't make much difference, it's the condition.  However, the chassis mfgr does make updates and usually these are for the good, so it would be wise to check for any chassis updates that might be desireable...such as Ford's update of the V10 along about 2001.  Other mfgrs have updates/changes as well.  Just do your homework before you decide.

Depends if it is a Ford. That's about the year Ford upgraded the V10 engine to 2nd generation.

If looking at a Southwind for instance 99s were done in brasss there are ussually differences, sometimes small sometimes large how much the change matters to you to you.
