'Does anyone have any suggestions on getting an overhead ceiling light that I can put above the dinette and just plug into the 110v receptacle in the wall (Used for the coffee maker also)?

We need more light than the stock setup and was wondering if anyone has gone through this process.
Thanks for your time and consideration.

You could put a standard 120v plug on any type of ceiling lamp you like. Go to Lowes, Depot, or a lighting store and find something you like, then a suitable wire (18 or 16 gauge lamp cord should do the trick) and put a plug on the end. Any hardware store can supply the wire and plug.

If you don't need/want a ceiling fixture, you might try an under-counter (under-cabinet) light, which is typically smaller and thinner. Some have optional cord assemblies available as well.

Here are some:

Do you want to mount under cabinet or on ceiling?
Thanks,
Looking for something to attach to the slidout ceiling above the table.  I know I don't have a lot to attach to, but am leaning to some of the lighter, more flush mount fluorescent lights....add a plug and plug into the receptacle used for the coffee maker.
