Ahoy. Just got my first RV a few weeks back. It's a 20' Tioga with a Dodge 360. It had the right side gutted when I first got it, but thats why I picked it. I'm spending a month doing a Reno/restore and making myself a rough full timer setup. I only paid 800 for it, and will be doing all the work myself.  8)

Anyway, two weeks in and here is where I stand:
-replaced entire metal roof wood underlay & resealed roof
-gutted entire interior to repair and replace dry rotted wood and insulation
-currenty rebuilding front overhead frame and removing front window

Its a work in progress, but after I finish the overhead "bedroom" and install
A shower and toilet, I will be hitting the road and working on it as I go.

Wish me luck!

Sounds like fun! I love working on my motorhome, and have learned a lot. The benefit of you doing the work yourself is that you are in tune to the subtle nuances of your rig. When your rig starts going click click click, and its supposed to go clack clack clack, youre going to know immediately where to start looking.

Speaking of which, im going to tinker on the bounder while thete is still daylight!
