i just picked this set up, well.... last year anyway.

i traded a car for the truck and camper combo. he is original owner and 84 years old, has not been used in several years cuz he can't get in/out of it like he used to. the inside is in great shape but roof was not! i have repaired the rot...

i am ready to install the roof material... but have no clue what to get. does anyone have advise on what and where i can get some roof material. i am sure i could go to an rv dealer but... $$$. how bout a cheaper alternative... any suggestions?

oh, and i parted ways with the 85 chevy that came with it as i have what i think is a better choice..

You've got a problem a lot of us have faced. Re-roofing a camper can be a major issue, but from the looks of the pictures, you've got a lot of the problem solved.  We re-roofed our slide in camper using an alternative to EPDM and had great results. Here are links to an article on the material and how to do it.

Hope not too late to help!
