Purchase of MT LLC w/Coach?

Looking at a Coach that is currently owned through a Montana LLC.  The possibility came up of just purchasing the company (LLC) which owns the Coach.

Anyone done this?

What do you think?
 
While it can technically be legal, many states are now going after owners of motorhomes living in one state but having Montana plates on the RV.  It wasn't worth the effort for me.  Now, if I was a full-timer with no real place of residence, I'd certainly consider it.
 
I know the LLC issue has been well covered here.

I am specifically asking if anyone has purchased an existing (company) LLC from another party.
