I'm doing lots of research - it'll be our first 'major' trip. Leaving mid-October and planning on taking 9-14 days to do it and then staying in central Florida for a couple of months. Goal: no more than 350 miles in a day, done traveling by 3pm each day. I'll be reserving our long term stay before we go, everything else is open to possibilities.
We are early 40's and have 4 boys (ages 9-16) + chihuahua. We are all very excited.
Anyway, seeking tips, ideas, places you've seen that you'd recommend etc. We are browsing AAA tour books and everyone is picking out their "musts" and then learning about "possibles" that we can decide on along the way.
