The steps on my 2004 35a adventurer wouls extend and retract while on the road. In order to be safe on the way to my mechanic, i disconnected the arm linking the motot to the steps ( part number 3380050 ). Therein lies the rub. I have lost this part. My mechanic was unable to locatr the part, so we ar now driving without functional steps. In fact even kwickee was unable to help him. They were busy taking inventory this week.
Any suggestions for a source of this part would be helpful.

The mechanic diagnosed my original problem as a defective door magnet.
