Not 4x4 but you get the picture. 8)

Sweet.  Sometimes I miss my sandrail.  I was thinking about building a Jeep bodied chromoly tube chassis'd sand buggy prior to getting out of duning a couple years ago.  Similar to what Larry Minor is building/has been building.

Mike.

There is a story behind these pictures and it shall never see the light of the Internet.

All fixed now.

Here is a couple of pics of my Jeeps. The Red one was completely stock when I follow Frank and Terry through a dry water fall in Death Valley. The other one I bought after falling in love with Jeeping.

Looks great Henry.  I am still lovin' that hood on your silver JK.

Mike.

Well thanks Mike, I just installed a new rear bumper on the Ruby. Smithy built gen 3. The one that has the LED backup lights incorporated in the bumper. Also went to 35" tires.

Sounds awesome Henry.  What tires did you end up going with?

Mike.

BFG all terrain. The k-2 got so noisy after 30-40 thousand mile I couldn't hear myself think. Bought them in Bangor, Me, never had any problems with the K-2 but we're just to noisy after a lot of mileage.

My new rig  :D. 1/10th scale Axial Racing 4x4.  4-link suspension, coilovers and sticky tires, it's a blast to pull out at a lunch stop and do some miniature crawling.

Hey you John,

Tell Jane that the New 2016 Rubicon 4 door we just ordered  was completely MY idea!  You only live once and I want to do this off road thing while we still have our health!  She'll get the message!

Pictures to come  when  rig arrives.  Hopefully before Christmas!
