Hello All,

My family (husband, triplets and I) just purchased an RV with my parents.  We know NOTHING about RV'ing, but we saw the chance to buy and we took it.  We are planning a trip to GA next month and the RV is missing the sleeper sofa and chair behind driver's captain's chair.  We can certainly go with new furniture, but we are looking to save as much $$ as possible.  I have been all over the internet, but most sites need weeks to custom make and ship, or the closeout items cost too much to ship.  What other options do we have?  Does anyone know of some local option for us?  We are willing to travel as far north as NY, and as far south as NC.  Any suggestions are appreciated.

What is local?  Elkhart, IN, has several salvage stores as well as Bradd & Hall for new RV furniture.

Here is where I bought my furniture. They had it in stock and to my door in 2 days. Prices and shipping were both fantastic.

Sorry, I should have been more specific.  We are located in Delaware.

I got all the proper measurements from my father.  Unfortunately, nothing on this website was a fit.  Any other suggestions?

These are the measurements as follows:
sleeper sofa length 75-77 in
depth 36-38 in

chair 24x27
length up to 50 in

I've noticed that self mounting brackets are available for the sofa.  Is it possible to purchase a home sofa and secure it to the floor?

Yes, there are other people here that have used a home sofa or chair in their RV's. You better make sure it will fit in the door first.

You will have to remove co-pilot chair if the coach has a front entry to get the sofa in the door.

Thanks.  This is the route I'm taking.

Update: WE have successfully replaced the chair and couch with inexpensive furniture.  We will be custom ordering furniture for next year.  Thanks for all the advice.
