2007 Winnebago Sightseer 29R
I plan to obtain a 2011 Ford Ranger to tow and to carry my motorcycle behind my MH. I want an automatic transmission but have not decided on 2WD/4WD.
The Remco website (http://www.remcotowing.com/vehicles) says that the 2WD automatic requires a 'drive shaft coupling'.
The 4WD automatic also requires a 'drive shift coupling' but also says: "Neutral tow kit not available".
Could someone enlighten me on what all this means? i.e. what is a drive shift coupling/where do I get one/what do they cost/what does installation entail? Also, is the 'Neutral tow kit' the indicator lite and computer chip I've seen mentioned in other posts? Since the kit is not 'available' I assume I should not get a 4WD?
Thanks,
John
