Good Morning everybody,

Dea & Mike are on the road again.  We will be taking our 3 granddaughters and their mother with us.  We have added a 3rd Granddaughter, Addison Renee to our adventures.  She is 9 months old and very close to her mother.  We have reservations for Bridge Bay Saturday and Sunday, then Fishing Bridge Monday and Tuesday.
Also we are planning to attend a Wedding in Durango Co later that week.  Big plans, little time, but we will have a great time.
Mike

Sounds like fun!!  There are lots of members at yellerstone, stay tuned and I'm sure they will chime in!!

Have a great trip .
We just finished a 7 day stay at Fishing Bridge . There are some Elk hanging around the meadows by the Upper Falls parking lot pretty steady if you like wildlife . Also a heard of Buffalo near Fishing Bridge . At least when we were there .
The scenery in Yellowstone is spectacular .

Take Care and have a great time , Bill

It sounds like you have a really fun trip ahead of you, so be sure to enjoy every moment. Congratulations on the 3rd Granddaughter as well, it is always a blessing when a new child is born into this world.

Good morning everybody, we are in Trinidad Co.  We have little over more hours to drive & we will be N. of Denver to see are family (the Greats).  We are having a great trip...

Like the pics Bill, hope we can see some wildlife while we are in Yellowstone.
We are north of Denver to see are family, we have a great visit.  We are heading out this afternoon towards Yellowstone, should be there sometime tomorrow.  We are having a good trip, but the weather is a little warm.

We made it to Lander WY, staying @ Sleeping Bear RV Campground. We stopped around 7:30 pm, a little longer then I want. But we should be Yellowstone before noon tomorrow. Girls are travelling very well.  We are getting closer...

If you are coming over 26 to Moran Junction, be prepared for a 9600' pass. The west side of the pass is under construction and there are several miles of dirt road. It's not a bad road but it is dirty. Slow going down the mountain.

We are working at the Old Faithful Park Store so, if you are in the area, stop in and say hi. If we aren't there ask for Bill Whetstone, aka Pancake Bill.

After a week of limited internet service, I have a chance to update our trip.  We have finished our trip to Yellowstone, left Wednesday morning.  We saw some beautiful country and met new people, very rewarding.
Jim, we were at old Faithful Tuesday, made an attempt to meet up with you and Bill, but there were so many people, it was hard to get around.
After a 3 day of easy driving, we made it to Mancos CO. for a family wedding today.  It is great to get together and visit with family here in Colorado.  We sure miss the cool weather.  Will be staying here for 2 ? 3 days then heading back to Denver.  Dea will have to fly back to Houston for her job.

Beautiful morning here in Durango.  I believe today will be our last day on the western slope of Colorado.  Sometime today we will be heading to the Royal Gorge then back to Frederick sometime Thruday.  No big hurry, will go at the Granddaughters pace.  They haave been very good travels.  We are very thankful that their Mom & Dad allows them to travel with us.
