Rookies needing your expert opinions. We have a 2012 Wrangler we are wanting to tow. Our MH has a Falcon 5250 towbar already installed, but the baseplate needed for this setup is on back order. We want to get going as soon as possible, but are biggest concern is having the easiest setup for towing. We are having this professionally installed, along with a Brake Buddy. So here are a few options, but like I said please offer your two cents.
Option 1: Wait for the base plate from Roadmaster, which has been on back order.
Option 2: Use the current Falcon 5250 towbar, but get an adaptor through Demco. Our concern here is ease of use, and integrity of the system.
Option 3: Get an entirely different system altogether (like Blue Ox). But this is LOTS more money.
Or, any other options you can think of.
