Madisom Wi. To Jackson Minn. 330 miles,  $4 a gal in Wi.  $3.79 in Jackson, A little rain this morning than
Partly cloudy.  Light traffic, no construction.  Tonite Jackson KOA  $35 shaded sites HOT SHOWERS.
Tomorrow Belvidere SD, 1880 Town.

JMHO..... If you are going ACROSS SOUTH DAKOTA stop at the first visitors center and rent the c.d. or the cassette ..........    The tape and cd will give you the story of SD from the discovery of gold in the black hills to rushmore and everything interesting.  It is well worth the rental because it will give you great insight into the state and its rich history.  You can stop at the last welcome center and turn the tape back in and get all but five dollars return of your money and it is well worth it.    WE LOVE SD.  we have been there many times and crosssed the state east to west ,,,, border to border and love it .......

1880 Town is a neat stop ... when we stopped with the Grandson a few years ago got some neat pictures.  Go to the saloon towards the back of "town" and get outfitted in period costumes ... it wasn't much $$$ and made for some neat shots.
