Devils tower to Custer SD by way of rt. 16. Didn't go back to tower this AM as planned, cloudy and overcast
And a little chilly. Stopped at a little Dinner in Upton Wy. (Remmy's) for breakfast, good food, priced right.
Rt. 16 through Black Hills National Forest, speed limet 25 mph, 7 percent grade up and down 2nd gear both ways.
Sharp turns ect. DW wife was white knuckling the grab bar. Beautiful scenery.
Staying at Custer Gulch just out side the state park. Nice site, clean hot showers, $30 a nite. $55 a day for a rental car, unlimited mileage and Rushmore parking pass.
Tee shirt shopping in town and dinner. Tomorrow the Burros, CG host says it's ok to feed them, suggests.
Carrots or popcorn, than on to Iron Mountain Road and Mount Rushmore.
