Hi All,

I'm considering getting a cover for my Class C. Yes, I've read all the posts debating the pros and cons - abrasion from wind, "never used a cover - looks great", "used a cover - looks great", etc.

Despite all that, assuming I *want* to use a cover, which one should I get? I've seen ADCO recommended but there are about three different grades that I can see and they all seem to "repel water, vent moisture, and last long".  I've seen the Tyvek type mentioned a couple of times but I don't know if that's a consensus.

I live in the Northeast USA where we get snow, ice, rain, and wind - many times all within the same day. The cover would probably be used mainly for winter storage vs. between trips so I'm not that concerned with easy on/off.

Thanks for any recommendations,

Tom

You can use the Camco 45734 ultra guard it's a good RV cover for winter. The reviews of this product are very good and the quality of the cover is high as well.

I bought this to cover a 2018 Rockwood camper trailer and this covers the trailer from the spare tire to the propane tanks (inclusive). The trailer manufacturer recommends a vented cover, and this cover is well ventilated. It is made of quality material and is easy to deploy.

The only problem is that I had to find another way of attaching it in that the supplied attachments would not work on this particular trailer. In spite of that, I would purchase this again!

My storage lot has had ripped covers blowing in the wind every spring (northeast as well).  No use in getting a cheap one and better make sure it fits tightly around the bottom so no wind can work it loose.  I suspect the instal is key.  If you could go under the RV with a rope back and forth 5-8 times tied to the camper it would benefit a lot.  Good Luck!

I bought the Leader cover in the above link.  Going on year 3, snow, wind.  I suspect this will be last year, starting to get near holes and thin areas, but I do keep it tight.  Never any issues, clean Trailer in the spring.
edit: I also protect all sharp edges with swim noodles and / or blue painters tape

I bought one from this site:

Under $400 shipped. I'm satisfied with the quality and fit.

And a lifetime warranty, that is fantastic.  Thanks for the link, that will be my next one. :))

Last month, I bought a Camco 45323 Vinyl Wheel in here: https://www.rvweb.net/best-rv-tire-covers-reviewed/ .  It is a suitable choice if what you are looking for is a cover that can fit tires that are around 30 inches to 32 inches.

Thanks for the info. It may help some members if they?re looking for tire covers but the ordinal post was for a complete RV cover and it was 8 years ago.
