We just recently purchased a 2012 Heartland Cyclone 300C toyhauler. We like it very much but have already changed a few things that we didn't care for. One area we are still not pleased with is the toilet. It came with a Thetford Aqua-Magic Style II (model #40254) and we would like something with a larger seat. This one has a seat 14.5" wide by 15.5" long and is more "rounded" in shape. Our previous trailer had a seat that was more "elongated" and accepted a residential sized seat when I replaced it once. Unfortunately I do not know what manufacture that was.
What we are looking for is one that has a larger seat, both longer and wider, as well as a deeper bowl. One I have been looking at is the Sealand 510 but it is unclear in all the discriptions if it is in fact larger in the seat or accepts a residential size seat. All the specs, i.e. measurements are for the total length and do not differentuate from total length to seat length. I spent two hours researching old posts last night without finding the answer so I decided to just go ahead and ask. The current toilet is a 2 bolt and sets 4" from the back wall and the water line is 3" from the back wall. There is 3.5" on both sides as it is a snug fit between the shower and side wall. I need one with a right hand foot pedal (as you are facing it) because any maintenance etc. would have to be done from that side through the entry door.
If it extended further out that would be a plus. Thank you for any suggestions you might have.
