Late this morning, DW and I roamed a piece of the high country looking at fall colors. In Golden Gate Canyon State Park, and along the highway towards Nederland, there were lots of Aspen that had turned, but they were rather dull looking. So we went to Eldora and found some gorgeous colors, including the first two pictures below. Returning to Nederland, we ate a nice lunch at a Nepali/Indian cuisine restaurant called Kathmandu -- buffet, no less.
After lunch we proceeded north towards Ward (along CO Hwy 72) where there's a large valley that always has a spectacular view. The remaining pics are in that valley.
