Bombardier Recreational Products has announced that they are exiting the sport boat business at the end of 2012, and will no longer manufacture Sea-Doo boats. They'll continue to manufacture Sea-Doo PWCs, Ski-Doo and Lynx snowmobiles, Can-Am ATVs, Evinrude and Rotax engines.
Too bad, because their sport boats are great for zipping around our California Delta waterways. However, the commonality of technologies, parts and dealers means that spare parts and repair/service will be available for some time.
